On the news today that The Vital Spark has returned home to her roots, and will be at Bowling Harbour.

Anyone fancy a wee trip down on Saturday to get pics of it?

If your interested add your name to this thread, thinking meeting time maybe 12 Noon, at Glasgow Queen Street station, train from low level goes straight to Bowling.

Leaves Queen Street at 54 and 24 past each hour, taking 21 mins to get there, Returns at 09 and 39 past each hour.

£3.35 return.

To quote from the text "It sailed into Bowling Harbour in Dunbartonshire - the first visit from a puffer in 40 years. It will stay there until the weekend." implying it is there until the weekend and not for it. Then again it is the BBC and their standards and command of the appropriate language usage is about as bad a the Daily Spurt now.

I heard that it will be away by the weekend so tomorrow may be it's last day there. I know someone who is going to try and go tomorrow if the weather is ok. If I can I will get a copy of the photos if no one gets the chance to go.
