Pretty amazing indeed.... Photo's from my contacts list borrowed without permission.
Pretty sure some of them belong to Streapadair
Loads from the Mitchell all in all a pretty good haul of stolen images.

I'm in two minds about this having seen the thread. While the information and pictures are good, the sources are questionable. I recognise several of the pictures

While googling it I stumbled upon this post on another forum where a brave man has put together a decent potted history of Glasgow in one post !

http://www.strathycruise.com/phpB...=38a1084224c222282b19fb3617d4b28c

It's worth a look and contains quite a variety of images on different topics.

Thanks to Cavvie for his permission to post this link

I think it's the other way about and Cavvie should have at the least acknowledged where he acquired those images from as they have came from various threads on both Urban Glasgow and Hidden Glasgow. You may give Cavvie my permission to post as many UG links a he likes instead of ripping them off. In fact he'll probably read this himself while he's on here hoovering up the images he fancies.

I'd be a major league hypocrite if I said anything negative at this point...

Well Fjord - you got off the mark there with the old copy/paste

I suppose at least people can see the material and form their own opinions. Good call.

the section of my original post that you didn't quote was to the effect that my dad played a small part in the construction of the clyde tunnel and that's why I was googling it in the first place.

There's nothing to stop you saving those images for your own use.

And, after that, there's no good reason why you couldn't upload them to your
own photobucket account etc...

No worries man it just happened it was the first post I looked at when I logged on and you must have been in the process of editing it when I posted the reply.

I looked at the Clyde tunnel pics and there's was few that I hadn't seen before. Good to hear your dad played a part in it's construction, something to tell the grandweans about
