Yeah, in the summer they will be basking on that slab like seals on a lump of pack ice Wonder how many rescues will be called in during the first summer.

Ah, yes, Clydebank ... does anyone know precisely where the victims of the Clydebank Blitz are buried, and why there is no central monument to them?

I lived in Graham Ave. from age 10 till age 14, the memorial formed part of my playground along with the bombed out buildings on Singer St. & the remains of the Holy City, known to us as "The Terraces"
The below photograph is the way I remember Clydebank, I roamed over every inch of it & know it like the back of my hand:

Bombed out building on Singer St.:

Good question, I can't think off hand of any monument that commemorates civillian casualties of WW2 only the memorials to the armed services.

The memorial to victims of the Clydebank blitz is in Old Dalnottar cemetery(the one on the  A82, south side just  after Auchentoshen distillery and before the Erskine Bridge slip road)
