Hi guys can you help???

I have a wee gripe, I was pointed in the direction of a site called Parkhead live??, I was told that a lot of my photos of Parkhead were on that site, no mention of me taking them, also some of Strepadairs photos were also on it
Now I know that once photos go on the web they are fair game but why dont folk ask for permission, which in my case would have been given
I have emailed the person concerned so far no reply, I have also alerted Strepadair
There are only two web sites that my Parkhead photos are on and Glescapals have a block on copying, the other site is UG, no bar on copying photos
Admin  suggested posting my gripe on the board

I am not having a go at anyone but if any of you know who took them can you have a word

This guy who is called George Ballie, has had a go at the webbie of Glescpals, saying you are not much of a pal for not allowing me to copy photos, now the webbie knows what he was on about
It goes without saying that all of you can copy my stuff, just credit it to me, thats what I have done while on this board for stuff that I have copied and apart from one guy I have never been refused the right to copy a photo

My photos are on view on facebook

This is the link
Any advice will be welcome
Bye for now, norrie

Anything that is on the web can be copied. I'm not saying it should be but just that it is possible and very easy... and they are certainly not fair game.

What you should do is send an email to the site admin stating that they are breaching your copyright and must remove the offending images within 48hrs. If they fail to do so you should then write to their hosting provider and they'll force the issue.

Ah its on Facebook, just click on the 'report this image' link and selct copyright infringement as the reason.

I don't think any of those are actually his - a number have been lifted from the Mitchell. There's others that have a GlegaPals watermark.

You should invoice him for unauthorised use of photographs at £100 an image, watch how quickly he takes them down.

Hi AlanM, I never noticed any with the Glescapals watermark, need to check that out and if its right that will be three of us after this guy

Cybers £100 per print, hmm  might be a great idea

Hi AlanM, I have just had a quick look and only found one from Glescapals, kids with a lollipop man crossing the road
That was donated by a Glescapals to GPs
Will check for more later

Have you ever tried using the copyright infringement option?
