Didn't really know where to post this but thought it is part of the past so it is in here.

Looking through my old records I came across some old singes from Glasgow's bands of the early 80's.

What do you have in your collection with a Glasgow connection?

Is that one genuine, Alex? - looks like a poor mans Boy George to me...

For me, the quintessential Glasgow LP cover:

Beat that...

Although admittedly, "A walk across the Rooftops" is a good contender...

Found some more I hope you will be interested in.

I was at the gig when this was being recorded. This single is unusual in that the B side has no label

Brilliant Alex!!

I would be really interested in knowing where the Midge Ure photo was taken? It may be the Old Ath on Buchanan St but it's been years since I've been in there so I can't be sure. Anyone?

Not sure Cheezy but Gary or Gordon would be able to tell us.

Haven't seen Gary about here lately. I may post a couple over there to see what reaction they get. Unless someone else here can provide the answer.

Just looked again at the Midge Ure pic and it's most definately NOT where I thought it might be, I don't even know why I thought that, it looks nothing like it! I'm a tube!
