I've been goin' around posting this up on other forums..
It's installed fine on Vista x64. Running most sites and it seamlessly imported all bookmarks, passwords etc from Firefox. Pretty fast too.
On the homepage where it shows you most visited sites, if you hold CTRL and click on the sites you want to open they will open in their own tabs.
Any more tricks? _________________ My Real Name: Pete

Aye it's looking quite promising. Some pages loading faster than Firefox/IE..some not.
Incognito is a pretty good feature. 'Control the current page' drop down>new incognito window.

Will they throw their weight behind it or is this one of their 20% time projects?
I have had my fingers burned by Google too often recently as they don't always maintain applications or issue new versions.
I can't afford to start to rely on something only to have it stop working on me 6 months down the line. _________________ "This is like deja vu all over again." |

I know what you mean.
It is only in beta so maybe even wait and see what happens over the next few months. I won't be moving over any time soon. _________________ My Real Name: Pete

been using Chrome tonight, but I'm missing Greasemonkey and all my Flickr scripts.
I am impressed by the speed, Incognito seems to have some useful applications, like banking (I said BANKING)
Will probably go back to Firefox for day to day use but it will stay as an addition to the testing rota as it will become pretty popular, especially seeing the media coverage it has received. _________________ Gies a gonk ya dobber!!

Looks alright but my middle mouse wheel button works as a quick scroll on Firefox
and IE but not on GC.
I dont mean the wheel scroll BTW.

Looks like it'll be good for web-development, the DOM inspector seems pretty good for a first attempt. Seems to mess up drawing form controls sometimes... especially on here!
The task monitor and stats for nerds, are a nice touch.
Here's some more for the address bar..
