Cyclists gear up for bike week
CYCLISTS will be racing to a series of events to mark National Bike Week, which
starts this weekend.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport has organised the Big Ride which starts
at Milngavie station at 9am on Saturday. It travels along the Forth and Clyde
Canal and Kelvin Valley cycle way to George Square in time for the SPT
Cycling Show.
Cyclists can join the ride at Hillfoot station at 9.10am, Bearsden station at
9.20am and Westerton station at 9.30am.
Visitors to the Cycling Show, which begins at 10am, will be able to try out
a range of bikes, including unusual two-wheelers, and get details on all
aspects of cycling.
SPT has also arranged a number of bike clinics where community police
officers will give advice on bike safety and security.
They will be held between 10am to 2pm at Clydebank Shopping Centre on
Monday June 16, Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow on Tuesday June 17, Kirkintilloch,
near St Mary's Church, on Wednesday June 18 and Crosshouse Hospital in
Kilmarnock on Thursday June 19.

I don't have a bike anymore but am thinking of getting one to help shed some pounds.

I got a bike Alex i will sell you it ... I also bought it for shedding a few pounds...
Now there gone i want them back again as my wallets empty...
