Ok, I need a new digital camera as my wee cheapo gave up the ghost on the
way home. No surprise, really, given how I've treated it.
I'm not interested in paying £400 for one (I need to learn to look after one properly
first...) so a decent point and shoot, preferably with a SD card slot, up to about
£150.
Any suggestions?

I've had a Pentax Optio s for ages ,its brillyunt, does fantastic macro shots, and it takes an SD card, a good optio/digital zoom ratio 3-4 I think.
Small screen, so doesn't use up too much battery power.
There will be an up to date version of it around and Argos do a good price
However if you have big manly hands then its not for you, dinky fingers needed _________________ Am a Wee Glasgow Bissom ye know! :)

I had a Pentax Optio S just like wee minx but it came a cropper recently Loved it so I did, was great for discrete pics due to it's size. |

I've been looking at the Pentax Optio A30 - seems quite good and it's within
my price range. £138 from here with a discount code.
Any opinions?

There's also the Fujifilm FinePix F40fd at £137 - seems very good value for money.
