With all the talent floating around here, has anyone ever checked out hawking their photographs to be sold as postcards? If not, why not? What are you all waiting for? Heck, I'll buy a few........

Talk about preserving the history of Glasgow and Scotland!

How would one go about such a task?

I'd love to flog my Doulton fountain & peoples palace pic as a postcard (look to the left)

Hi McShad,

I once asked my uncle this very question, he was a professional photog.
He told me straight out, that it was a difficult market to break into, but it could be done, with perseverance! He's since passed on, but give me a day or so and I'll think about what his advice was. He passed on over 20 years ago (perhaps older than you are now )

There are many Scottish Societies here in the US, which would be one example of an "untapped" market? If anyone is interested, I would be happy to post the address's of a few and you all could take it from there? Its networking at its best....
