Could the title of this thread be changed to read Ruchazie and the Surrounding Areas.

I am sure there will be more can be added here. If not photos them memories of the area.

I have an old aerial photo I can post here later which shows Cranhill and Ruchazie.

I also have a copy of the local community news paper that was available in the late 1970's. I will need to find them and post them here too.

If anyone else has anything it would be really good to see.

It would certainly be interesting to see a local Ruchazie magazine, even if it was a good few years after I left the area.

The fortie shown for Ruchazie is Jessie's bridge on gartcraig rd going over the monk land canal now motorway and also bankend st where I lived and where the ice cream war tragedy took place
