Ive been asking around for ages, about a very small street off Broad street in Bridgeton.. it ran beside a red sandstone tenement which is still standing next to the old garage at Summer st... I used to play round the backs off this wee street, it was mentioned to me that it would be Williamson or Williams street, or place.. the reason Im asking is that its one of those places that people will just forget existed as its been incorporated into the entrance to a work now and has gates where the street entrance was, any help would be very welcome.

Acording to an 1892 map, it was William Street.

its a wonder its not Charilie, love the name by the way... this is the street that vanished for years, I used to play round the backs there as my auntie lived in the building where the factory is now.. I wonder how the people living there like looking out their side windows into a works yard..
