I bought a 156cm Aluminum Tripod from Aldi today for under £10
It comes with a canvas bag.
Is this good value _________________ I had a dream today

...that would do for me ...serioulsy...just depends what you put on it and the wind at the time ....a few goes with it will tell ....just don't take your hand off the camera the first few goes. I've had a few accidents myself tripping over the things. _________________ Am a Wee Glasgow Bissom ye know! :)

Didn't want to start a new thread on tripods since they are boring as sh!te.
When I was told in the past that a good well built tripod is a great investment in the long run and can actually improve my photography I laughed...I laughed in their stinking faces.
Now I don't want to preach but please don't buy a cheap ass tripod that only cost £10 from Maplins because even though this wee thing has done me pretty well over the last 10 months even with its shakiness at the slightest breeze if I didn't catch the camera as it hurtled towards the ground when the head snapped off I would not be very happy right now.

Most tripods have a wee hook up between their legs (Ooo errr misus) just hang your rucksack from it, easy peasy. _________________ Flickr Pics |

If that thing even had a hook to hang a rucksack off of it would have collapsed, it's that bad. _________________ My Real Name: Pete
