I know it's not local but a cracking place if your on your way to Glencoe.

Great chips,  and all made fresh so no soggy ones.

I stopped off at Tyndrum during the West Highland Way a few years ago. We eat in the hotel and the food was not the best but when you are hungry anything does.

Did you get a chance for a wonder when you were there Zo?

I remember walking through a park just outside Tyndrum. It was a nice flat area for walking and there were notices explaining the history of the area. I was trying to find out more about it for something I am working on but couldn't find anything about it in the net.

I always pass through but never stay long, it's usually when I'm on my way home.  But there's a tourist info place beside the cafe,  and it has info posted up inside it.  The shop in it is pretty expensive but think the leaflets are free.  There's also The Green Welly Stop across the road,  which is a shop and outdoor shop beside it.  They have info in there too, and all friendly enough.  I must actually stop and have a proper gander round,  only found out they had a train station on Sunday!
