Not exactly in Glasgow, but it's getting spring time soon and all the wee farm animals will be out and about. What a lovely way to end your trip to Cardross or take the sprogs for a day out to stroke the baby sheep.

As you can see they have a tearoom there, sometimes when it's busy you have to put your name down and take a wander around the massive farm shop or garden nursery while you wait, but it is well worth it. Wholesome soups and innovative sandwiches, and amazing home bakery, too.

I've been a couple of times well worth a visit just for the grub alone. Although they were sold out of weeping willows in the garden centre

Just make sure you don't go on a Monday, that's their day off.  So you'll not get far!

I think a UG visit is in order those scones were the size of curling stones and the clotted cream is well worth risking heart disease.
