What a great set of photo's and glad we got the chance to see them first.
How things have changed in such a short period of time. I have tried to fill in some of the blanks/Misc below if you feel the need to ammend the original post details then delete this as appropriate.
Thanks again to the family for giving us such an opportunity to view these from the first Urban Explorer.

Cybers, is this the same place? If so it was the site of Bufallo Bill's Wild West Show at East End Exhibition Buildings during the winter of 1891 /92

HH that is exactly the same place ...
I never actually knew about the Wild West show in the east end and is now something I wish to peruse some more.
As an ex kid i played here on many an occasion and that included running the full length of the back wall of the villas on Craigpark (Much to the despair of the residents).
My friend has just aquired one of the dwellings that was built on top of this pitch and i was amazed at how much it had changed not just the houses but there seemed to be an elevation change too. Was there an Excavation ? _________________ MY FLICKR

Pee ess.........did you never wonder why there is a statue of ol' Bill there?
Erm TBH it is the first time i ever saw that too as when i played there the school was still intact. (Mostly)
Then when the main building was demolished an annexe was left behind this was used for years as a gym.
Though will have to pay more attention the next time i visit.

Hi all,
I'm Andrew's grandson and I'm really glad to see that these pictures are bringing enjoyment - what a perfect place to be able to showcase them.
I spent many happy summer days with my grandfather traveling across Glasgow when I was growing up, hearing his stories and soaking up the history of the city, and although I probably didn't appreciate it as much as I should have back then, I certainly do now when I see all of these pictures 15-20 years on.
I am currently going through what must be well over a thousand of these pictures and slides - I will be sure to let you know once this is done.
