I left Glasgow as a ten year old at the end of 1960 but, nearly fifty years later, your pics remind me of the Glasgow I left.

This one is Byres Rd @ Hillhead Station. The Laing sign propped up against the gable of Curlers.

The shop across the road was Carole Wilson, florist - Oddbins lives there now.

I can't remember what the green shop on the corner where Greggs is now was though

Had a look at your first post here Eddie. Maybe if you try just posting the url between [img][/img] it may work. I don't think you need to post the url between [url][/url] as well.

You cant display pictures like that. They need to be hosted on the net somewhere.

Try either Tinypic or Photobucket - they are both free to use.
