Aye it took a good while. I originally wanted to create a Google Earth overlay. The only problem being that the image quality deteriorates the larger the image.
Found a couple of programs to create Super-Overlays but that's another story...a long horrible story.
Try it out and notice the difference for yourself.

Good map,notice Christ church on Brook st/Crownpoint rd once had a graveyard bordering on George st (Rogart st) had enquiry about this few weeks ago. Problem solved thanks mate _________________ www.benallison.co.uk
Excellent piece of work lowlight, that works really well. I think that sort of google earth overlays is one of the most useful things I've come across when looking into Glasgow's past.
At the risk of sounding greedy could you do any of the other ones in this series?
