Chatelherault Country Park is a country park near Hamilton

Its name is came from the French town of Châtellerault, the title Duc de Châtellerault being held by the Duke of Hamilton.

To get to it the nearest station is Chatelherault on the Motherwell line,

We did Alex, had a nice panini in the cafe altho the woman looked depressed and probably spat in it (South Lanarkshire for you )

I wanted to go exploring but the kids wanted to go to the playground. Guess who won.
