Agreed...
The Hideaway does a cracking meal and is reasonably priced and the Davaar Hotel is recommended for a spot of lunch on your wanders around Koorus

aye Koorus thats it.. Ive never had my lunch when Ive visited but the main pub is shut now, think they went into liquidation.

There was plans to designate the conservation part off limits to vehicles did they follow through on that as it's been a few years since i have ventured....
Know what bugger it what about a day's wander in Koorus ?

watched a big wedding last year late Summmer think it was up at the Abbey, didnt notice the roads closed then. just a shame more people dont know about the place. but the museum is far too expensive at £8 , and I wouldnt pay that amount to get in anywhere.. but love in the gardens up the back with the old herbs and the Dumpies.. thats hens with very short legs if you dont know about them..

thanks Doog Doog this one at the old Abbey, had to climb over a fence to get some pics but now its been sorted since then and you can get in no bother.. did you know that the two films of Kidnapped were filmed in Culross.. one with David Niven one with Michael Caine..
