120 homes to be built on Clyde site in £27m move120 homes to be built on Clyde site in £27m move
DEVELOPERS have unveiled multi-million plans to build more than 120 homes and
offices on the banks of the Clyde.
The £27million proposal marks the final phase of Renfrew Riverside, a housing,
leisure and retail development, which joins Braehead with Renfrew town centre.
Primrose Quay and Junction 26 will be created on either side of Ferry Village,
a site earmarked for 2000 new houses, off the M8.
Glasgow-based developer Park Lane said the latest phase will complete one
of Scotland's most significant waterfront regeneration developments.
Sean Robinson, joint managing director of Park Lane, said: "Junction 26 and
Primrose Quay can be seen as the final pieces in the jigsaw for the comprehensive
regeneration of Renfrew Riverside.
"It has been a pleasure to achieve the complete transformation of Renfrew's
waterfront, reinventing the relationship between the town and the River Clyde."
Five housebuilders will create the £245m Ferry Village over the next four years.
