Annette Street & Queens Park

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had photographs of Annette Street and Queens Park back in 1943/46.
My parents lived there with brother who was 5 months old in 1943.

Any information will be very much appreciated.

If you use the search facility, you'll find a couple of threads related to Govanhill and surrounding areas, including Queens Park

Stuball,

Thanks for that. I looked at the Govanhill of old - but no photo's or information on Annette Street or Queens Park.

Hi cupcake47

The Virtual Mitchell site has only two images of Annette Street - both of the school building at No 27.

colmar,

The last time I visited Glasgow, I went to Mitchell library and saw the
photographs you mention.

Will just have to accept that I'll probably not get any old photo's. Was worth a try, though.

Thank you
