Area of Grass in Springburn marked as 'Danger do not enter..

subsidance.

anyone tell me why and or what was there in the past to have caused this area to be fenced off ?

alongside  Broomfield Rd.

Which part? Not that I know the answer, I'm just curious!
me

the old broomfield football pitches have been cordoned off for years due to olde mines subsiding, theyve gradually opened most of it back up and as far as i know (not been there in a while) the only bit still fenced off is the bit behind All Saints chapel and where the old youth club/scout hut thing used to be.

as far as i can remember it was garages that where right at the corner there....think there might have been a bigger building behind them too,
