Looks like you had a nice day there.

Last time I was there I could barely see 2 feet infront of me by the time we reached the top of Goatfell

Changed it now.

Thanks to those who have kindly pointed out my mistake.

wee minx

Is that a wee red pencil sticking out under it to keep if from wobbling?

I used to love Kildonan. However, the scattered village of my childhood holidays is now clogged up with ghastly modern homes (particularly the 'Knots Landing'-style development next to where the Breadalbane used to stand).

I was last there in July and the Breadalbane Hotel was just a shell - a greedy Ayrshire property developer is looking to build on the site. He claims the character of the village would always change once a water main was installed.

Mr Sam went to Arran in 2009.  Great hills and quite a few Glasgow connections if you look hard enough.  Appologies for the two curses of Mr Sam - 1 Arran is panorama central and 2 my camera doesnt tell me where I took my shots from so descriptions may be vague
