Ayrshire gigot bacondoes any person know any butchers who sell ayrshire gigot bacon. i was married in 1964,and i found a shop in cumberland st in the old gorbals selling this bacon which was just magic.

Morrisons do it...
Scallopboy i am sure will know somewhere in Glasgow that will stock it fresh and not pre packed.

I hope you all cut the fat off your bacon................and throw the meat bit away, fry the fat until nice and crispy, then stick it on a right good piece n masses of butter

I'm more of a roll and sausage man myself, but I think the butchers in Minard Road in Shawlands does it.
