Was up that way a few days ago and snapped these. There's literally nothing left now.



This whole block is gone now.

Early 1990s, I reckon. External cladding, double glazing and probably central heating.

Thanks Stuball, I've not been on for a while and I missed this!
I've always been more interested in the old engine shed that stood on the other side of Broomfield Road, but the flats can be seen looming up behind it in photos from the mid-60s. I passed these loads of times going to see my gran in Wallacewell Road in the 70s! The city skyline will look very different without them. Looks like there won't be many high rises left by 2020!
