Before & After #1

This game is to help us with our post processing.

I post a picture 1024px on the long side. Apart form resizing no other edits should be applied to the image.

The game will last 48hrs and whoever posts the best edit (judged by the original poster) wins and carries on the game by naming the next thread Before & After #2 and posting an image of their own.

1. Post processing techniques must be included with your edit (filters used, contrast, unsharp mask etc)
2. Don't comment on any picture until the winner has been decided.
3. Be subtle or go mental, it's up to you.

THIS ROUND WILL END ON SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER @ 21:30

Please post the above text in every new round.

Never saw the Hutchison hospital look so good. Excellent photo.

To be honest LL, I think the pic is fine, anything I do oversaturates it and it only needs a very tiny bit of sharpening. All the colours are too muted to start messing with contrast and hue. Maybe some one else can have a go

Good stuff. I'll amend the original post to include 'be as creative as you want, add spaceships and sh!t if the image calls for it' :)

Might as well leave this round open since no one wants to play.

I'll have a go at something later.

I had a major malfunction of Windoze was looking forward to having a crack at this... Now i am up n running again after a full format and clean install I will get it worked on...

There ye go..I quite enjoyed that

Boosted the contrast and saturation
Divided the image into three square bits and gave them an outer glow, Separated them a wee bit
Gave the end ones a perspective transformation.
Cropped the image
Blurred and darkened the background

I was tempted by this, but thought you'd think i was taking the piss!

Would have been dinosaurs though.

Not at all Eddie. Add, subtract, do whatever you want. That's what it's all about. Go as mental as you want.

Minx that is a brilliant edit. Well done.

Looks like you're next up to post. I thought I'd let it go on a little longer and try to get some interest.

Anyway, show us what you've got.
