Bin Lorries From the 70's 80's

Yeah i know Rubbish idea for a thread ha ha. But i had a thing for bin lorries when i was a lad i think it was the big teeth in the back that mashed up everything from normal rubbish and in those days sofas and wardrobes.I was forever following the bin motors around the scheme and the Binmen let me throw in the bags etc etc and before long there was a wee team of us doing likewise the binmen didn't mind as thinking back we done all the work for em :)

Well ya grow up and grow outta these sort of kiddle things but back in the summer i was sitting outside grabbing some rays and one of todays modern bin lorries came round the corner looking at it with those trollys that load on the wheelie bins and a rather lame looking metal brush that sweeps the rubbish to the back of the lorry i gota say if i was a lad nowadays i dont think they would hold much interest for me as well they were just more exciting and violent looking in my day :)

Here's a Bin Lorry of the type you'd see in the late 70's 80's complete with Nasty looking Teeth in the back

who's the daddy
