Nothing major. Just some pics I'll be taking with my blackberry over the next year.

Good stuff guys. Starting and finishing work when it's dark doesn't give me much time to take pics on the blackberry.
Alex Glass

Yes Lowlight it is difficult taking photos in the dark with the BlackBerry.

I need to download some more from my BlackBerry and will post them soon.
LowLight

A couple more.

People's Palace

Great Western Road

The 1st pub on my tour of Woodlands Road. Had my last drink in the Doublet dead on closing time. Great night.

The Hayfield

A pub I've never been in.

John

I was in there a few times about 7 or 8 years ago. Is the Falcons Nest still across the road in the old bank building ?
LowLight

You know something, I was looking for the Falcon's Nest the other morning and I couldn't see it. It was there not that long ago. Maybe I 'looked' at it but didn't 'see' it. That, or I was drunk.
John

I heard it closed a couple of years ago, but I haven`t been down that way for a while. I remember it still had the big steel vault door inside the pub a wee reminder of it`s past. It will be a shame if it`s been demolished as it was a nice wee building.

Edit... Just found it in monkeyirons flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/monkeyiron/2331682694/
LowLight

Now that I think about it I haven't noticed it in a while. I'm near it at least once a week on the way to Bridgeton.

Aye looks like it's gone then. How time flies.
LowLight

The Falcon's Nest is still there. No idea how I didn't notice it the other week. Might take a walk along today.
John

Good to hear it`s still there Pete
Alex Glass

Finally downloaded these from my BlackBerry from a couple of months back.
