Blackhill Dock Parkhead

Can anyone tell me exactly where this place Blackhill Dock actually was at or near Parkhead... or was it part of Monkland canal..

December 1889.
DM Cumming
of Blackhill Dock, Parkhead, Glasgow
1912 Shipbuilders

Cumming's yard was on the canal at Blackhill. It came under the control of Henry Robb of Leith, who closed the yard down in 1928. Any vestige of it lies under the M8.

Thanks a lot for the information.. Forum Index -> Glasgow From The Past
