glasgowken

Doesn't ring a bell, but i'll try and find out They are very thin on the ground now, so chances are it was going into preservation.

I'm thinking about popping along to this early doors.... anyone else going first thing? meet up and go team handed?
Stuball

Well I have to say.... it was so much better than I expected! The various buses old and new from various locations, the attention to detail in the restored vehicles and the detailed service history made it well worth while. Spent better part of the day in there except for a tour on an old Kelvin metrobus upto steps and back via the city centre

Pictures to follow real soon

Ill second what Stu said, good day out and the old kelvin bus to stepps and back was good, best bit was the fanny who tried to get on it thinking it was a service bus

Took the vintage buses to/from the transport museum too, both were Leylands with the strange seating arrangements, on one side.

Pics to follow too.

Stuball

I'll do that, cheers

Sadly (as you can see) LA510 was a total wreck, even worse than mine. However it would have come in useful to supply parts for LA517 at Bridgeton, but it was scrapped before it could be bought.

Here's a sign that was next to the driver's cab, don't know if this was removed before it was sent off.
