Well spotted Wee Minx started the thread originally but has since deleted her FlickR account leaving a trail of broken links in various threads. These will be removed as a when they happen to show up. |

Oh I know  , that's the worst thing about Flickr, if you close an account theses things happen, unfortunate, but unavoidable. I've seen quite a few things like that on other forums too, usually photobucket broken links right enough, yourself included Fjord 
Still I have a new account and all my pics are as we speak being uploaded, and if you like admin, I can continue to edit any posts I find, entering the new url for the appropriate photo

Fair do's Minxy you may want to edit some of your posts if you wish although Admin has deleted a fair number as I'm sure you'll be aware by your decreasing post count.

Rather than delete a Flickr account just make everything in it private and then abandon it (you can change the email address it sends mail to to a hotmail or gmail account for spam) - it'll break links from posts but the pics will still show up. Although its a bit more involved than deleting the account its easier than replacing all the pics in forums |

If its private it just doesn't show up in your stream - if you add it to a group its visible to group members. You can post it in external sites - although technically you'd be breaking Flickr's ToS as they require you link back to the photo when you display it somewhere else. |
