Thick or what

We were away by then. Left after breakfast

The accommodation here was excellent and the owner very friendly. Would recommend this to anyone wishing to spend some time in Callander.

We missed a couple of other friends on the Monday as well. Seems everyone was there after we left.

Callender

Hi Alex, took my best ever brownie fishing just under the middle span of the bridge. Two guys in front of me fishing for salmon were not too happy when I cast a fly just behind them and took a trout from literally under their feet. Thanks for bringing back the memory.I kept a caravan on the Gart Caravan Park for a number of years, fished the rivers and lochs round there, and have many great memories of the area. Thanks again.

How long would it take to drive from Glasgow to Callander i would like to spend a day there some time this year. After seeing all the great pictures you have all taken it looks a nice wee place to visit.

Stunning in the summer months Bill but very popular as a day trip destination therefore parking can be at a premium.

When you go, have a look in the sweet shop for some memories

Alex ....
Have you ever had a look in that toy museum ?

Is it what it say's on the tin... Curious as I usually just use Callander on the road to somewhere else... Stopping for Cherry lips and Sweet Peanuts in the sweetie shop of course.
