Yer back on Subject ....
Is Carmunnock not outwith the city boundary as i mind as a younger fella kicking around with a spritely young thing from Waterside Road and passing the welcome to Glasgow sign just before you entered Castlemilk.

Its a lovely wee village and used to walk through it as a kid going to my grandparents in Westwood E.K

Well recently there was a lot of bother when Glasgow City Council offered up a piece of greenbelt land near here for development. It is just withn the city boundary and is one of the smallest places in Glasgow.

That clears that up nicely then oh and if anyone tries to locate all the wells in Carmunnock you will come up one short...

Its hidden in the gorse behind this bustop ... A cowtailed pump in disrepair like the one on Hawicks smashin picture. Used to drink from it in the 70's and found it again in the late 90's as i wanted to show the wife it.
