Cathkin ParkThird Lanark AFC were a football club that played at Cathkin Park, Glasgow
from 1872-1967. The clubs nickname was the hi-hi.
The club was declared bankrupt and was liquidated in 1967. Cathkin was
sold for housing during the 1967 close season, but Glasgow City Council
refused building permission.
Cathkin Park is still in existence to this day and you can clearly see the
outline of the stadium. The three sides of the terracing are still in place,
though there is a large gap along one touchline of the pitch where the main
stand once stood. The ground had a pavillion off to the right hand side of
the main stand which housed the players dressing rooms, similar to the
one at Airdrieonians old ground Broomfield, which is also now gone.
Fulham, who play in the English Premier League, have a similar pavillion
building at their ground, Craven Cottage. The South terracing, opposite the
main stand, had a pitched roof covering the terrace but this was removed
after the club folded. The pitch itself, once boldly declared the best in
Scotland, is still in use for amateur level matches, though it now appears
to be a little narrower than it would've been for profession games.

What is it? anyone know?
Cathkin park is one of about 3 places in Glasgow that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end ,as If have been there before
I used to play on that spot as a child and even then I had the same experience.

It's a quote from Hippocrates Chief Inspector, I have no idea why it's on a plinth in Cathkin Park though .. some dismal terracing philosophy no doubt.
