Does anyone have pictures of Clarkston?

Hello all,

I'm looking for old pictures of the Clarkston area in and around Clarkston Road for a project on the local history.
I'm focusing on the development in the 1920's and 1930's.

There is a search function on the site.

This book may interest you  Just do not attempt to publish any scanned copies of the photographs online, Stenlake do not take kindly to that at all

If it is the area north of Clarkston Toll that you are interested in(Stamperland ?),you might find something at this website:
Additionally, maybe have a trawl through the Council website:

I think I am right in saying that Stamperland was developed by the builder John Lawrence, whilst Netherlee, further north,by Mactaggert and Mickel. If you are interested in the latter,M and M have good Archives, and they might be worth contacting. Forum Index -> Glasgow From The Past
