If they mean the old white mile marker It used to sit just outside the wall of Budget but I cannot actually remember the last time I seen it. The one at Bargeddie has been removed over the last few weeks probably taken to landfill.

The story headlined Clock Alarm made me chuckle.... Clock and watchmakers alarmed over unsaleable stock if the U.K should adopt the metric 24 hour clock

I had a look from the bus while passing and never saw it.

There is a mile marker hidden behind a tree in Ibrox on Paisley Road West, near to of Copland Road

I would wager landfill or its still there, only in smaller bits now.
