Fairclough Builders late 1960s - demolition of tenements

This is probably a long shot but our family are looking for anyone who was employed by Faircloughs in the late 60s/early 70s and was involved in the labouring when the tenements were being demolished.

Our dad, Joe Culbert of Stonehouse and mum, Martha Culbert have both died of asbestos-related disease and we are quite sure that Joe both inhaled it and brought it home on his clothing as he laboured for Faircloughs.

If anyone can help us contact any ex-employees we would be so grateful.

Have you tried the Clydeside action on asbestos group?

I'm not sure if they can help with a witness search but I could try their forum if they have one. Thanks for your suggestion though. Forum Index -> Glasgow Development & Demolition
