Hi casion, I know a guy who runs a web site about Glasgows pubs, I have sent him an email about your post
I am sure the pub was there late 1960s

Something of note... Killermont street was realigned 90 degrees and now runs east to west when it used to run north to south

My Dad use to take my brother and I to see Partick Thistle every second Saturday and we would be left standing outside the Linburn Pub whilst my Dad and Uncle had a pint on the way.

The last time we went would have been around about 1972 and the area surrounding hadn't been demolished yet. I lived in Cowcaddens till 1967 and our house wasn't demolished for ages after we left.

I think it would have been round about 1974 when everything was finally cleared. But it is only a guess. Forum Index -> Glasgow From The Past
