That cop is a fcuking tool

Alex, I know this didn't happen in Glasgow but what's the chances of the council getting behind a campaign to make sure petty officials know the law ?  This can't be allowed to escalate.

Although as I said elsewhere, the NUJ have a cheek getting all pissed off about this, it's often their shitty rags that promote this fear culture.

Sorry but this subject makes my blood boil.

We should have a photographers' "Reclaim The Streets" day like the cyclists do.

I have to agree with GlasgowKen, he shared same view piont as myself. The press have been promoting everyone with a digital camera is a terrorist or a paedophile at every oppertunity now that thier camera men have been stopped from taking photos they cry wolf. I've no sympathy with press on this matter

We also need to educate the public.
The same people who would complain about supposed "pervs" and "Arab looking blokes", and call for bans on taking pictures in public places, probably snap away wherever they like without a thought, and don't even see it as the same rights.

they did educate the public any one with a digital camera is a perv or terrorist

Totally agree GK. I will speak with a few key people to see what their response is.

It makes you laugh thou when you think that it is the tabloids who tell people what to think yet they buy photos from the paparazzi who have skulked about in bushes to try and catch out an unsuspecting celeb.

If I am not mistaken they have also from time to time trawled the web to steal photos from members of the public without paying.
