This is just a short post by way of a tribute .. a tribute to a regular contributor to this illustrious forum.

Some freebies are a piece of nonsense .. they are worth nothing, they are 'for' nothing, and they signify nothing and others (thankfully) are the antithesis.

If anything is dichotomous to the triptych of disappointment above then the DVD that dropped through my letterbox at the weekend is.

I have watched it four times over the weekend and still think I've missed images and information about Glasgow life and its roots that could prove useful in the future.

Thank You Sir, I am forever in your debt. Like I said in our PM, I owes you a pint (or multiples thereof!).

I am keeping his identity quiet as his ability to make unlimited copies may well be .. well .. limited.
