Glenfarg tunnels

Afternoon all!
Been away from UG for a while, so I thought I'd come back and bring some photos to make up for it. :)

Went up to Glenfarg yesterday and took a bunch of photos. Couple of highlights here, full set on my Flickr as always.

This route was not closed under the Beeching Report, he left it open, but the trackbed got in the way of the M90 and Barbera Castle shut it "as an economy measure", along with Dalry to Kilmarnock, The Corstorphine Branch, The St Andrews Branch, The Leven Branch, The Grangemouth Branch, Stirling to Dunfermline via Alloa (partly reopened), Larbert to Alloa (via the "other" Forth Bridge), The Tayport Branch and The Heads of Ayr Branch, as well as completing Beechings work with the Waverley Route.
Labour were as bad as the Tories at trying to destroy the Railway NEtwork
