International "Pretend To Be A Time Traveller" Day

Just a little heads up good people .. December 8 this year is International Pretend to Be a Time Traveller Day. The idea is to dress and act like a time traveller but never to actually tell anyone that you are one.

Some ideas:

* Walk up to random people and say "WHAT YEAR IS THIS?" and when they tell you, get quiet and then say "Then there's still time!" and run off.
* Stand in front of a statue (any statue, really), fall to your knees, and yell "NOOOOOOOOO"
* Stare at newspaper headlines and look astonished.
* Take some trinket with you, hand it to some stranger, along with a phone number and say "In thirty years dial this number. You'll know what to do after that." Then slip away.

I personally will be donning my tweed suit and trilby and plan to ask all the above using BBC 1940's style received pronunciation.

Good Luck .. and for God's sake people .. do try not to initiate any Paradoxes.

I may stick on a gorilla outfit and go horse riding in Queen Street rounding up some humans.

Right - I'll need a perm wig, a hat, a ridiculous scarf, a bag of jelly babies and I'll
wander around informing everyone I'm from Gallifrey...

I remember my dad had a watch that developed an interesting fault. When it was wound the hands spun round really fast  I used to pretend it was a time traveling watch and go on adventures around the back green
(LOOK I was about seven, OK !!!!!   ).

The bloke who lives upstairs from me goes on wee adventures round our back green.

I think it may have more to do with White Lightning than time travel though.
