International Brigade Gorbals Volunteers

I'm looking for information on the International Brigade volunteers who lived in the Gorbals, especially any photos remaining of them. I know of 5 at present. My great uncle, John Lynch of Naburn St. Tony Yates of Errol St, killed at Jarama Feb 37.  ? Bonnar of Lawmoor St. Joseph Clarke and Phil Gillan.

Thanks Sputnik, I'm hoping to find out more about the Gorbals guys who went, as it's strange that  relatively little is known about most of them

the international brigade memorial trust have the roll of honour online but it gives glasgow not any specific district.sorry, but worth a look in case you see a name you recognise.good luck, they deserve the recognition.

Hi Stairheedramy, Have you been on the old Gorbals Facebook page, there was a discussion not that long ago about the members of the International Brigade that came from the area
