Kelvinbridge Station

I'm fairly well acquainted with photographs of the above station. While leafing through 'Shades of Grey' by Oscar Marzaroli I came across some photos of a coal yard in the vicinity & a building called 'Ramsay Ladders Depot'
Does anyone have further info on this, why that particular name for instance?

Aha HH my dad used to actually have a set of Ramsay Ladders he used for his work. I think they also did scaffolding towers too.

Ramsay Ladders are still on the go somewhere. Folding or retractable Loft Ladders are often still referred to as a Ramsay Ladder.

Folks, what I was trying to get is that the photos below obviously show a coal yard. I wondered why it was called 'Ramsay Ladders Depot' thinking that it might have some long lost meaning akin to 'Smithy Lye' (sp?)

So basically Ramsay Ladders had a workshop there before the coal yard came into being & the yard just adopted the name for the depot? Shame it turned out to be so mundane a reason.
