Sorry I can't help. Don't know that much about the Maryhill area but hopefully someone here will be able to assist with your request.

Seen your stuff about Nitshill Alex . My ma grew up in Pollok and went to Crookston castle and I was telling her about it.

Welcome to Urban Glasgow, Charlie.
I also dont know much about Maryhill but I found this site which has info on
Kilmun Street and when it was bombed in 1941. It has a few PDF files you
can download.

Glad you like the stuff on Nitshill Charlie.
There is more to go up and I hope to get some work done again soon. There is an old photo of Crookston Castle Secondary being build in the Virtual Mitchell. As the Nitshill thread is about the whole area I will post it there.

Hi Charlie
I grew up in Duncruin Street. Was Kilmun Street the one with the paint factory and the bowling green?
Best, Ronnie

Yes that's Duart St. Kilmun Street is the next one along. (The paint factory in Duart St was an old horse tram depot btw )
Here's a weird fact, Kilmun Street used to be named Argyle Street

That happened quite a lot when smaller burghs were annexed by Glasgow
