Absolutely stunning pictures although I cannot help but think we could shave a few percentage points from the national debt if we just turned off some of the lights.

Anyone fancy attaching their camera to the side of a helicopter?

Those motorbike pictures remind me of then I was having my dinner at an Italian restaurant just off Bolsover Street (i.e. in the shadow of the BT tower) in London. There I was, sitting outside, enjoying the fine summer evening with great food, when what should happen??

What seemed like about 100 folk all on rollerblades came roaring past us and down the street, accompanied by people on bikes.

Once they had passed, a slightly bemused me continued to eat his tea and then go onto a bar.
LowLight

Thanks guys.

The area around the eye is pretty busy. I think they only get a bit antsy if you're using a tripod and getting in the way, mine were all hand held, couldn't be arsed carting a tripod around all day.

Fat chance!  When I tried to step on to it so that my mate could take a photo of me pretending to unlock the door, the polis (sergeant !!) told me in no uncertain terms to get off and stay off!  Loses a bit stretching out like I am   p.s. I am holding a key though

what's the key for? There's not a keyhole on that door
cybers

yes there is it's underneath the knocker but never used...
AlanM

The letterbox is just for show, the door is solid.

If you go to number10.gov.uk and look at the virtual tour you'll see the letterbox doesn't open into the hall and there are no locks on the door
cybers

Since 9-11 they are hardly going to show anything that might be classed as a security breach.

Go to white house virtual tour and the door onto the white house lawn is not there either.

Just because you can't see it does not mean it does not exist. After all if you looked don't you suppose so did the I.R.A, Al-Qaeda and any other 2 bob outfit.
