March cultural events at the Alliance Française de Glasgow!

Bonjour everyone!

Our busy cultural programme this month is sure to please lovers of literature, theatre and French culture in general! The presence of works by Cocteau, Baricco and Kelman clearly demonstrates the AF Glasgow's important part in creating cultural links between Scotland and France.

Scottish author James Kelman together with Keith Dixon from the Editions Metailié will do a talk on literature which is not to be missed. It will be on Thursday 14th March, from 7pm to 8pm.

We will mark the 50th Anniversary of Jean Cocteau's death with French actress Hélène Hiquilly who will present an adaptation of "La voix humaine", a fascinating play which will delight all theatre fans! On Wednesday 20th March 2013, 6.30-8pm.

Finally, we will continue our partnership with our friends from the French community of Belgium, who will be here to present a joyful performance, an adaptation of "Novecento pianiste" by Alessandro Baricco. Don't miss this musical play, full of creativity! On Thursday 21st March 2013, 6.30-8pm.
