Mural on Bellfield Street

Can anyone give me information about the mural that was painted on the side of a building on Bellfield St.?  I think it was supposed to be a frog.  I have found some pictures and I would like to add some historical information to them before I give them to my Mum for Christmas.

The mural you refer to was "KLAH P II" painted in 75 by John McColl and the Scottish Arts Council but pretty sure it was actually on the gable of the tenement block of Whitevale Street after they demolished the last 2 closes before the lane. The rendering was stripped back sometime in the 90's and capped with a sandstone finish.

Thank you for the information.  Odd looking thing it was. Forum Index -> Glasgow From The Past
