NEW Book: Glasgow through the Lens

Quote:
In 1955 Glasgow camera clubs got together to create a unique photography survey of the city.

They photographed everyday scenes of people and places and in the process created a wonderful record of daily life. A selection of these popular photographs is back on display at the People's Palace.

For some it's a trip down memory lane and for others a chance to see the city as it looked over half a century ago.

Bought a copy of this the other day in Borders Books a bargain at £9.99

Be a good chap and scan it in and send us the file so we don't have to pay EPAP

I saw a bunch of these photos on display recently and can't remember where?

Given my limited wandering recently it has to be either Kelvingrove or the People's Palace.

I must pick up a copy with some of the book tokens I am expecting for my birthday.

I think it was an exhibit in the peoples palace

I forgot to post this up. I got the card and don't know what I have done with it.

Fjord let me see his copy and it looks well worth £10.
