The Sky At Night

I'm hoping to get a telescope in the near future but until then this shot Venus will have to do.

I'll get out the back tonight and take some star shots to make the thread that tiny bit more interesting.

The background snow makes it even more interesting

I was thinking that too Stu.

I hoping to find out more about shooting the sky so any help would appreciated. Help could equal a really good telescope. j/k

you should be able to get a mount for your camera fairly easily, either a direct mount or a t-mount and adapter (best if you want to use different cameras on it)

I've been reading about the mounts for cameras and some of the shots of galaxies are simply amazing but there is a lot of work goes into it.

A lot of long exposures and stacking in post processing.
